WHY STOCK FIRMWARE IS IMPORTANT?

  • To restore your Galaxy Note 7 factory setting and give it a fresh start.
  • Unbrick your Galaxy Note 7 if it is soft bricked or stuck at bootloader (Bootloop)
  • If Galaxy Note 7 shows too many forced error closes and random restarts? Fix it with your downloaded firmware.

  2. I have a Samsung Note 7 (US carrier Verizon) that will Samsung will prevent from charging via OTA from Verizon. Initially, I purchased the 7 and exchanged it for a 7 with a battery thought not to combust (with green battery indicator).

    Subsequently, my 7 received an automatic update that limited the battery to 60% charge. I would like to reverse that.

    If I install the stock ROM listed here for US Verizon, will my 7 charge to 100%? Will this stock ROM work with my 7 that has the newer battery?

    If not, is there a fix to allow my 7 to fully charge?

  3. I flashed a custom Note 7 ROM to my Note 3 using Oden and it is working perfectly except a yellow “SET BIT WARRANTY : KERNEL” message at startup and some occasional crashes for camera and other applications. However, generally, it is working good.

    Can I flash Note 7 Stock ROM to my Note 3 that already has custom Note 7 ROM? Will it work, if I do?
