Odin, a Windows software developed by Samsung is the best and the easiest way to install stock firmware or Custom Recovery or ROMs on your Samsung Galaxy devices. Instead of manually flashing the firmware from the fastboot mode by executing ADB commands, this method is much simpler and less risky.
You can download the stable version of Odin 10.7 in .zip format from the download section below. The Odin 10.7 is currently available only for Windows computers and it could be used to save your device from bootloop or upgrade or downgrade your Samsung Galaxy device.
It can also be used to root your Galaxy device using an extension called CF-Auto-Root. This is developed by ChainFire, the same developer behind SuperSU and could be automatically used to root most Samsung devices.
If you own a Linux or a MAC, you can download the Odin alternatives called Heimdall and Java Odin for installing the stock firmware using your Linux and MAC. The download links for both these software and the stable version of Odin 10.7 are provided in the download sections below.
