  5. well this “tuto” is sometimes confusing . so let me be it too please 🙂

cd Desktop does mean nothing . bootloader will be unlocked if yuh see Phone Unlocked RED in recovery mode down android little greeny buddy.

then to flash the TWRP (v3.02 for me) USE the command mfastboot and NOT fastboot . no size problem with this mfastboot .
commmand will be : mfastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2/img

use mfastboot AS WELL to run updat.app when upgrading in recovery mode (vol+ vol- and power).
update.app or update.zip will be into a folder named dload in racine of phone) or sdcard .

So download that folder https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4ytiAHOc0KrNUVZUXpGRFNobUU (which contains mfastboot fastboot adb and adb drivers etc… + twrp 3.0.2 )
basicly everything you neeed to root / unlock bootloader update android etc…

IMPORTANT if the message debuug usb to this computer “accept” or not comes up after rebooting CHECK the REMEMBER THIS COMPUTER box; that message shall pop up when rebooting the phone normaly .

1)))) volume down + power button to see recovery mode (Phone unlocked down here ? bootloader remember ?) or paste the folder you downloaded on desktop ; open it run INSTAL.BAT and/or into a white space: shift + right click = open command window here / ouvrir invite de commande)

2)))) if already in recovery mode with phone unlocked in red then type : fastboot devices .
you should see your phone serial and the word fastboot after .
if not in recovery mode then phone on type into the command window: adb reboot bootloader and type again fastboot devices … see yours ?

    3))) type : mfastboot flash recovery twrp_3.0.2.img

    4)) type fastboot reboot

5)) instal last superSU PRO apk like that :

    6)) ::::::::::::::::::: unplug the phone from PC . ::::::::::::::::::::::::::

hold vol + and power button. you are now into your new TWRP instal earlier

accept that twrp can change your system buy a movefrom left to the right from the bottom blue bar

then choose instal , then scroll down to the supersu.zip , click instal and after reboot .

download rootchecker.apk from store and : run it and ….well done yuh done it .

FOR NEW FIRMWARE :p8 only get at max version b584 b585 . no android nougat emui 5 for us .

    petition ? https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/p8-users-demand-the-android-7-nougat-and-emui-5
