Steps to Install How to Install Android Wear 2.0 on Zenwatch 2

  1. Download and install ADB Drivers.
  2. Download OTA zip file and save it in ADB folder [C:adb]
  3. Connect your Zenwatch 2 watch to PC using USB cable.
  4. Enable Developer options & ADB debugging option on your Watch
    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap on About.
    3. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
    4. Head back to main settings by swiping left, Scroll down to bottom and select Developer options.
    5. Tap on ADB debugging, click on right tick to confirm.
    6. When you connect your watch to PC, You will see the prompt on your watch asking to Allow Debugging, Tap on Always allow from this computer option.
  5. Open ADB folder in your PC, open a command window by pressing “Shift key + Right mouse click” and click on “Open command window here.”
    • Now Execute the following command
      adb reboot bootloader

      [icon name=”bell” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] This command will boot your watch into Bootloader mode.

  6. Now in your PC ADB command window, give the following command.
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
  7. Optionally factory reset can be done when in bootloader
    fastboot erase userdata
    fastboot erase cache
  8. Reboot your watch by executing the following command
    fastboot reboot
  9. Done.
