Finally Moto X4 Android 8.0 Oreo Update Started Rolling Out: The latest smartphone from Lenovo, the Moto X4 is finally receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update as promised. Launched back in the month of October with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat powering the device, the manufacturer has promised that the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update will be made available for it soon. The manufacturer has kept their promise launching update in the same year of the launch.

The update had already started getting to users around India with a build number OPW27.2 which is reported to a stable Android 8.0 Oreo version. The update is given out as an OTA update and no big details about what is included in the update are not yet known much. But the December security patch from Google is added to the update and is confirmed. And all the main features of Oreo including the Auto-fill feature, picture in picture mode, and notification dots can be seen on the device with the update.

The Moto X4 Android One has already received the Android 8.0 Oreo update and now the regular one is also getting it. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor clocked to 2.4 GHz the smartphone is reportedly performing very good. Available in two variants of 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage and 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage the price tag looks really fair. With the new update rolling out, the device is going to perform really well and is a good pick on the price range.
