Step-By-Step Guide

  1. First you will need to download the rooting tool to the desktop of the computer.
  2. Once downloaded you will need to extract the files from the root package and save them somewhere easy to locate such as your desktop.
  3. At this stage you will need to make sure you have your USB debugging switched on your device. To achieve this go to ‘Menu’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Applications’ > ‘Development’ > ‘USB debugging’.
  4. Now using the USB cable, connect your device to your PC.
  5. Now simply go to the desktop folder where you have extracted the Root Package to.
    • If you are using a PC running Windows you will need to double-click the ‘runit-win.bat’file.
    • If you are using a PC running Linux you will need to double-click the ‘runit-linux.sh’ file.
  6. Once complete, head to the Play Store and download the Superuser App.
