Verizon Blackberry PRIV Gets AAQ281 September 2017 Security Patch Update with the fix for KRACK vulnerability

Verizon has started rolling out the latest AAQ281 September 2017 Security Patch Update with the fix for KRACK vulnerability for Blackberry PRIV.Blackberry released the latest smartphone in their smartphone lineup with the launch of Blackberry PRIV. This smartphone was launched by the company as a part of their newly launched smartphone lineup which is powered by Android and PRIV is the Blackberry smartphone which features a full touchscreen display and also there is a QWERTY keyboard slider on the smartphone. Now, the smartphone was launched earlier in various smartphones around the world. The smartphone was also launched with various carriers including Verizon in the United States.

Now, we have known that the latest Blackberry PRIV which has been sold in the US by Verizon is getting a new update and this update has been versioned as AAQ281. Talking about the contents of the latest update from Verizon for the Blackberry PRIV, this update brings the KRACK fix patch which was discovered very recently and it affected all of the smartphones that are connected by WiFi around the world.

Apart from that, we have also known that this update brings the September security patch to the smartphone. This security patch is not the latest by any means but it is still good that the recent security patch is rolled out to the device. This security patch fixes Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in Android.

Now, one thing to note other than this is that the update also brings minor bug fixes and performance improvements. This is also said to improve the battery life on the smartphone and you will notice a fresh new smartphone after you install the latest update. Now, this update is rolled out for all the Blackberry PRIV smartphones on the Verizon network and it should be available to you in the coming days so wait to get the update on your smartphone and install it as soon as possible on your phone.
