Verizon rolling out OTA update to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge build G935VVRU4BQA4.

We have got news that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is getting an OTA update via Verizon Wireless Carrier that is based in the U.S. We had suspected that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is getting an March update or the Android update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat because the phone is running the Android 7.0 Nougat software and is scheduled to get the latest Android update but that is not the case and Verizon is giving an OTA update which brings WiFi improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge users are receiving a new firmware update which is being rolled out over the air. The update is a small one but highly recommended as it contains stability enhancements and improvements for Galaxy S7 Edge that its worth recommending to update.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge’s update comes with the build number G935VVRU4BQA4, the firmware update improves the WiFi performance improvements of Galaxy S7 Edge. It also fixes regular bugs and tags along system enhancements.

With Verizon updating the Galaxy S7 Edge OS on its network to Android Nougat, the new firmware update is Nougat based on Android 7.0 Nougat. If it has arrived on your device, first hit the download button and then install it. If it hasn’t shown up, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates but it will eventually come if you are happy to wait.

As is the case with all the updates sent out from either the phone manufacturer or the carrier which can be an firmware update or an software update, do remember to keep the phone charged to above 80% battery or keep the phone plugged in to a socket. Also download the update over a good Wifi connection for seamless updates to make sure that the installation is stutter free.
