Xiaomi Mi 5X has received MIUI 9 China Stable ROM V9.0.3.0.NDBCNEI OTA Update: Xiaomi has launched the latest smartphone in the Xiaomi Mi series which is the Xiaomi Mi 5X. Coincidentally, this is also the first smartphone from Xiaomi which comes with a Dual camera setup on the back at the time. Later, the company released the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in their more premium series which is the Mi Note series that featured the same dual camera setup. Also, it is interesting to note that Xiaomi launched the same Mi 5X smartphone in India with a much different name and software but the specifications and design are identical. Talking about the name, the smartphone has been launched as the first Android One smartphone from Xiaomi named as the Mi A1.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 has been launched by the company globally in India and comes with Android One software that has been delivered by Google and runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat currently with Android 8.0 Oreo update scheduled to come soon. However, the Xiaomi Mi 5X comes with MIUI which is the custom skin of Android. The smartphone was launched in China with Android 7.0 Nougat. Now, the latest update to MIUI which is MIUI 9 has been made available for most of their phones by Xiaomi and the same is available for the Xiaomi Mi 5X also.

Talking about the MIUI 9 update, the Xiaomi Mi 5X has now received a new update over-the-air which says to install the latest MIUI update on the smartphone which in turn will bring Android 7.1.2 Nougat to the phone along with all the new features and improvements that have been brought by Xiaomi. We have also known that this latest OTA update brings the October security patch to the device which brings several security improvements from the previous patch.
