Hello guys! Toda, we are here with some exciting news for all the Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact users. Sony has begun to roll out the new software update 47.1.A.5.51 for its Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact smartphones. This new update will come with a fix for its camera sensor issues. The smartphone’s issues were that its camera RGBC-IR and TOF (Laser AF) sensors were not working as they should work. This update will also include the latest Android November Security patch.
This latest Android November 2017 Security patch will bring fixes for 61 Common Vulnerabilities, and Exposures discovered in the Android Operating System. This firmware update will also likely include device stability improvement, few bug fixes, and further improvements for performance. Another major addition will be that the Krack Bug will get fixed in this new update.
The users have already begun receiving the official update notification. However, if you want to check for the updates manually, you can go to the Settings -> About Device -> System Update and find if you have received this update or not. You just need to make sure that your device has enough battery so that your device doesn’t get switched off in between the update.
