Smartphones are getting better and better every day and so the charging. We have already seen some high speed wired charging from multiple companies like 125W from Realme, and 120W from Xiaomi. The wired charging is evolving and on the other hand, the speed of wireless charging is also getting a rise.
A reliable Chinese tipster goes by the name Digital Chat Station claims that a 100W wireless charging is in the manufacturing process. Further, he mentions that some new smartphones in 2021 will use the 100W wireless charging without naming any brand or device.
Back in July, OPPO was the first company to unveil the 65W wireless charging which is currently the maximum speed of wireless charging (while writing the post). The OPPO 65W wireless charging can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 30 minutes. So, a 100W wireless charging might reduce the number to 18-20 minutes.
