5G variants of IQOO 5 and IQOO 5 Pro listed on TENAA ahead of today’s launch

Two upcoming 5G phones from Vivo with model number V2024A and V2025A spotted on TENAA along with some key specifications. The Vivo V2024A is believed to be IQOO 5 whereas V2025A is speculated as IQOO 5 Pro.

TENAA listing for IQOO 5(V2024A) shows the phone has a 6.56-inch display and dual-sim slot. It has a rated battery capacity of 4430mAh. The handset measures 160.04×75.60×8.32mm and weigh 197g.

Coming to the IQOO 5 Pro(V2025A), listing shows 6.56-inch display and dual-sim slot, same as in IQOO 5. The phone uses a dual-cell battery with each cell has rated battery capacity of 1945mAh. Hence, the total rated capacity is 3890mAh. It measures 159.56×73.30×8.9mm and weighs 198g.

HDR10+ certificate

Both the phones also found on HDR10+ certifications which reveals V2024A will debut as IQOO 5 and V2025A will debut as IQOO 5 Pro with HDR10+ support.

The IQOO 5 series includes one special edition smartphone which is rumored to be called as IQOO 5 BMW Edition. It was teased by the company through a poster but the official name is unknown. IQOO 5 series is launching today in China.

The IQOO 5 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. According to the 3C listing, the IQOO 5 will support 55W fast charging and the IQOO 5 Pro supports 120W fast charging. This smartphone might debut in India too as the IQOO India twitter account hints for this, through coming soon image.
