The Galaxy A6 Plus (SM-A605F) has started receiving the latest May 2019 Security Patch update with build number A605FNXXU3BSE1. The update is being rolled out in Europe. The update is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The update is rolling out as an OTA a.k.a Over-the-air. This is really great to see Samsung is releasing regular updates to the older devices.
This update is only rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus devices. - First, download the firmware file from the download section above
- Now Enter the recovery mode on your device, then follow the linked guide below to Install Security Patch Update On Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus
- If you want to sideload the OTA then follow the guide below
- If you want to Install the Full Firmware File then follow the guide given below (Odin Method)
If the installation is successful, you will see the message Pass in the Log Tab.
