Samsung announced the Galaxy A80 back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. The device has already received two major OS upgrades and as a result, it is running on Android 11. But, it won’t get the next major OS upgrade Android 12. Because Galaxy A80 is not in the list of Samsung’s phones eligible for 3 generations of OS upgrades. But, it will continue to receive security patches for a while.
