OnePlus has started rolling out the latest Oxygen OS 11 Open beta 1 based on Android 11 to its budget device, OnePlus Nord.
The new update brings all the Android 11 and Oxygen OS 11 features. This is the first beta build so there are some bugs which are present in the build. In coming days the company will be releasing more beta build and then it will release Oxygen OS 11 stable update for OnePlus Nord.
If you have an OnePlus Nord as the main device, then you shouldn’t install the beta update. The update is being rolled out as an OTA update (Over-the-air) for those we are currently running beta versions. So, if you’re already running the previous Open Beta on your OnePlus Nord, then you can check for the software OTA update on your device for once. To do this, head over to the Settings – System – System update – Check for update. if available, you can download and install the OTA. Otherwise, you can manually do so by following the steps below.

- Added the shortcut key for Dark Mode, pull down the quick setting to enable.
- Supporting automatically turn on feature & customize time range. path: Settings – Display – Dark Mode – Turn on automatically – Automatically enable from sunset to sunrise / Custom time range
- Shelf
- Newly shelf interface design, the interface is clearer
- Added weather widget, animation effect smarter
- Gallery
- Supporting Story function, automatically form weekly videos with photos and video in storage
- Optimize the loading speed of the gallery, and the image preview is faster
