Lenovo S5 is a bezel-less smartphone which means that it has 18:9 aspect ratio. It is having a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with the resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4GB of RAM. You can choose between 64GB and 128GB of storage space. There is also a 3GB RAM variant available with 64GB of internal storage. The dual camera setup is a necessity these days and the sensors are 13MP each.

One of them is monochrome while the other one is an RGB sensor. The front camera is also powerful with a 16MP sensor.   • Make sure your device is rooted and have the latest TWRP recovery installed. (Check the Pre-Requirement Section Above)
  • First, download the files from the above link and extract them
  • Now transfer the downloaded files to the internal storage of your device.
  • Now reboot to the TWRP recovery by holding your power and volume down buttons together for a few seconds.
  • Take a nandroid backup by selecting the option from the home screen and then your data and cache from the recovery menu.

  • Now return to the main menu of TWRP and wipe cache, data, and system before flashing the ROM

Wipe TWRP RMG

  • In order to Wipe data: Go to Wipe —> Advanced Wipe and select Dalvik/ART cache, cache, System, Vendor, and Data and then swipe to wipe. (Don’t select the internal storage)

TWRP Wipe Swipe

  • Now Return to the main menu of TWRP again and install the GSI ROM which is just a system image.
    • Go to Install -> Install Image -> select system.img

  • Next flash the Gapps file like custom ROMs
