Download Google Camera for Galaxy A51 (Gcam 6.1)

The Samsung Galaxy A51 was launched in December 2019 that has quite good specifications in terms of the mid-range price tag. From the Super AMOLED display to Android 10 to Exynos 9611 processor to standard RAM variants to quad rear cameras and battery, everything seems promising enough for a longer run. However, the budget segment Samsung Galaxy devices can’t compete with other brands when it comes to the camera department. Though the Galaxy A51 has 48-megapixels quad rear camera setup, it falls short in some areas like better dynamic range, portrait shots, exposure, and low lighting images. If you’re a Galaxy A51 user and also feel the same thing while taking pictures from your phone, you can download Google Camera for the Galaxy A51 device (Gcam 6.1).

If we talk about the Google Camera app, it’s the official and stock camera app for the Google Pixel devices. Previously, the Google Camera app was available on the Google Play Store for all the Android devices but now the app is only compatible with Pixel phones officially. Whereas, there are so many ported app developers who are constantly developing the Google Camera app for the non-Pixel Android devices and the Samsung Galaxy A51 is one of them.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Stock Camera VS Google Camera 6.1

The Galaxy A51 has a 48MP Quad Bayer sensor with a 12MP secondary ultrawide lens, two 5MP lenses with macro and depth effect. It offers PDAF, HDR, Panorama, an LED flash, etc. While the stock Samsung Camera app offers all the basic options and features along with the Night mode and super stead video recording mode. On the front side, it has a 32MP selfie camera with HDR mode.

But you will get much better results on the Google Camera app at both the daylight and low light situation. The Gcam 6.1 offers so many useful features with a simple user interface that each and every user can play with it. The Google Camera brings Night Sight mode, Portrait mode, HDR+ enhanced mode, PhotoSphere, RAW image file support, Google Lens, AR Stickers (Playground), Lens Blur, etc. While users can also adjust settings from the advanced option in the camera app.

Most of the captured images from the Google Camera app delivers stunning crisp quality, better edge detection in portrait mode. The night mode images are just awesome with a great level of detailing and shadows. Thanks to Arnova8G2 and Urnyx05 for porting the Gcam app compatible with the Galaxy A51.
