Huawei is rolling out a new software update to Mate Xs foldable smartphone. The update bumps the Android monthly security patch level to January 2021, thereby making the device more secure.
As mentioned in the bulletin, January 2021 security patch fixes 4 critical, 1 medium, and 25 high levels of CVEs. The latest security patch update for Mate Xs is rolling out with firmware version EMUI 11.0.0.170. This is a minor update and does not bring new features to your smartphone, apart from increasing the security mechanism.
