Oppo is gearing up to launch its Reno 8 Series globally and in India, Currently, The official date announcements have not been made for Indian markets however, Oppo Malaysia has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 8 Series will launch on 21st July globally. The India launch could take place in the same timeframe. There were other rumors that hinted at the Reno 8 series launching in India on 18th July 2022. To recall, Oppo Reno 8 Series debuted in china with Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 pro plus. Reno 8 pro plus is a china exclusive device. The Global Reno8 Series is rebranded version of Reno 8 Pro plus and reno8.
Oppo Reno8 Storage and colour options
Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 pro models in India will be available in three storage options for both models. These storage options include – 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage option, and a 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. These phones will be available in two color options, Shimmer Black and Shimmer Gold. Oppo might skip the Blue color variant for vanilla reno8.
Oppo Reno8 Price and Availability [India]

The Oppo Reno 8 Series will be available from 24th July, The starting price of the Reno8 series could start from Rs 29,990 for its base model and the highest variant will stand at Rs 33,990. These device will be available via flipkart with an Instant Rs 3000 discount with bank offers. The effective price will fall to Rs 26,990.
In Comparison, Reno8 device will rival Oneplus Nord 2T due to their same price segments and respective Configurations.

Oppo Reno 8 Specifications
The vanilla Reno8 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera and two 2MP sensors for depth mapping and macro photography.
For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera. The device will pack a 4500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Both phones run Android 12 out of the box and have a layer of ColorOS 12 on top of Android.
