Early this year Vivo Launches Two smartphones X80 and X80 Pro, The Premium flagship is about to get the Lite version very soon. The Vivo could be working on Vivo x80 Lite 5G smartphone as well. If earlier reports to be believed Vivo is also planning to launch its Vivo’s most premium smartphone in the X80 series lineup, X80 Pro Plus 5G. According to a report by MySmartPrice The phone is likely to launch globally in October 2022.
Now we at Rootmygalaxy [Via passionategeekz] have learned about the existence of the Next X80 series smartphone. We have spotted the firmware development of Vivo X80 Lite 5G with model number V2208. Vivo is likely to launch Vivo X80 Pro plus 5G and X80 Lite 5G smartphones in October 2022. Currently, there are no words on the hardware and software parts of X80 Lite 5G. The Lite Version could arrive with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or Dimesity series processor. The device could offer up to 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128GB of storage.
In related news, The Next phone of the Vivo X80 series will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The new Qualcomm chipset is based on a 4nm process and comes with 10 percent CPU and GPU improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset is also claimed to consume up to 30 percent less power.
We can expect the phone to come with Zeiss-tuned cameras and gimbal-like stabilization. It would not be a surprise if the X80 Pro+ has a quad-camera setup on the back. As per some previous reports, the phone will come with a 50MP + 48MP (IMX598) + 50MP (JN1) + 50MP (JN2) quad-camera setup.
The phone is also likely to sport a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120H refresh rate support. It is likely to support 120W fast charging as well. Other details of the phone remain unknown. We will share more information once available.
