[FAQ] Can I link Airtel number to Aadhaar online (OTP Based)?

We are getting many questions about online linking of Airtel number to Aadhaar .Now here we are with the answer.We have known that the Indian government has recently made it mandatory to link your Aadhaar Card number to all the necessary services that are being used by the people and one of the services that has been talked about much is the linking of Aadhaar card number with the mobile number. Now, we have known that the deadline of linking our Aadhaar card with the mobile operator that we are using has been extended till March 31 due to the Supreme Court’s verdict and the final decision of whether the linking of Aadhaar to all of these services is necessary has been pending.

However, in the meantime, it is known that the mobile number that we are currently using has to be linked with our Aadhaar card and one thing that is to note is that we have to verify our Aadhaar card number with our telecom operator once again even though we have given our Aadhaar card at the time of purchase of the same number.

Now, it was also announced that the companies like Vodafone, Idea, Airtel, Jio and others will make it easier to link this services from December 1 and we have now known that this easier process is via a OTP method.
