February 2021 security update rolling out to Realme C12 and C15

Realme is sending a new software update to budget-oriented Realme C12 and C15. The latest update brings February 2021 security patch which improves the device security by fixing security vulnerabilities. 

The latest update for Realme C12 and C15 is hitting the devices in India with software versions RMX2189_11_A.87 and RMX2180_11_A.87 respectively. Other than a new security patch, the latest build optimizes system stability and fixes some known issues which are not detailed in the changelog.

As usual, the update will reach a limited number of users today. This is to ensure that there are no critical bugs in the build. Once the company confirms no critical bugs, it will plan a border rollout. Manually, Realme C12 / C15 users can check for the latest package by heading to Settings >> Software update.
