1. Adjust uTorrent Settings

  • Launch uTorrent client.
  • Click on Options > Preferences > Click on BitTorrent.
  • Under the Protocol Encryption, select Forced > Click on Apply and OK.

2. Allow uTorrent through Firewall

  • Open Windows Firewall program.
  • Go to Allow an app through firewall.
  • Click on Change settings.
  • Select or Add the uTorrent/BitTorrent app from the list.
  • Click on checkmark both the Public and Private domain options.
  • Save changes and restart your computer.

3. Enable Port Forwarding on uTorrent

  • Launch uTorrent client.
  • Click on Options > Preferences > Connection.
  • Checkmark ‘Enable UPnP port mapping’, ‘Enable NAT-PMP port mapping’, and ‘Add Windows Firewall exception’ to activate.
  • Click on Apply and OK.
