With Discord Overlay, you’ll be able to text and voice chat when playing a game. If the game is crashing, you should try to play the game by disabling the Discord overlay.

  • Open Discord
  • At the bottom of the screen, you should select the Settings cogwheel icon next to the username
  • From the left pane, you should over to “Game Overlay”
  • Switch off “Enable in-game overlay”
  • Restart your PC
