Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A41 receiving March 2022 security update

Samsung was the first to release the March 2022 security patch, which started with the Galaxy S22 series towards the end of February. Now, the South Korean giant has started to update Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A41 to the March security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A30s is reportedly getting the new OTA update in Colombia. It can be identified by the firmware version A307GUBS4CVC1. The update brings the March 2022 security patch and it is unlikely to bring any other changes like performance improvements or UI changes.

Galaxy A41, on the other hand, has also joined the March security update party with the latest update. For now, the March update is rolling out in Albania, Russia, and Switzerland with the firmware version A415FXXS1CVC1. Hopefully, Samsung will expand the update to more regions in the coming days.

Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A41 March update

The March 2022 security patch for Galaxy smartphones includes fixes for 60 vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. Therefore, we recommend keeping the device updated with the latest security patch available.

If you are a Galaxy A30s or Galaxy A41 user in any of the above-specified regions, then you are right on the edge of receiving the March update, if not received yet. To manually check for new updates, head over to the Software update section under the Settings app.
