Galaxy A55 becomes the first device to get July 2024 security patch update

Samsung is way ahead of the rest when it comes to giving the latest security updates to its devices. Today they kicked off their latest July 2024 security patch update, and the Galaxy A55 is first in line.

If you’ve got a Galaxy A55 in India, you’re in luck. The July 2024 security patch is headed your way. The initial rollout is happening in India, with other countries soon to follow. The update is tagged with OneUI version A556EXXS4AXF6. The update is about 226 MB.

The latest July 2024 security patch brings loads of bug fixes that were reported previously. It has addressed Google’s 25 Android issues, including 4 big ones. Samsung’s not slacking either; they’ve tackled 33 of their own bugs, touching everything from One UI Home to Knox.

If you own the device and live in India, you can update your device right now. Just head to your Settings, tap Software Update, and hit Download and Install. The installation process will take some time, so be patient.
