Samsung has started sending a new software update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 users. It’s more than just a new security patch update as it also brings new camera features and support for eSIM and Dual Sim Dual Standby (DSDS).
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is currently rolling out in India and Canada. According to the changelog, the monthly security patch level has been upgraded to June 2022. The latest security patch fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy.
Not just vulnerability fixes, the latest One UI build also brings new camera features from the Galaxy S22. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting Enhanced portrait mode, support for auto framing function, Pro mode support for the telephoto lens, auto framing effects support, improved video call effect, and an improved Camera app.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in India are getting the June update with the firmware version F926BXXS1CVEE. In Canada, it is rolling out with the firmware version F926WVLU1DVEE. In the coming weeks, the update should expand to more markets.
If you are a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in India or Canada and have not received a notification for the June update, navigate to Settings >> Software update and tap on Download and install to update your phone. If no new update is available, wait for a few days and repeat the same steps.
