Honor 20 officially bags the January 2022 Security Patch Update

Honor 20 handsets running on EMUI 11 have started receiving the security update that was released in January 2022. The security patch will improve the security of the handset by resolving issues and bugs, which could potentially slow down the performance of the handset. Honor 20 owners have started receiving the new EMUI v11.0.0.186 with a software package that is 175MB in size. Currently, the January 2022 Security Update is only available for Honor 20 users in India.

The new January 2022 Security Patch Update will come with several fixes, including 4 critical, 47 medium, and 12 high levels of CVEs in the system. Additionally, it’ll also resolve 2 high levels of CVEs in terms of third-party libraries for overall better system security.
