Follow this guide to know How to Enter Into Recovery Mode On Huawei Honor 7A. Like all other Android devices, the new Huawei Honor 7A also comes with a stock recovery. The stock recovery has very limited functions. Most of the time stock recovery is used to install the official update via ADB sideload and to factory reset the device.

There is another type of recovery available for Android and it is called Custom recoveries. These recoveries like TWRP recovery or CWM has loads more functionalities.  These Custom recoveries allow users to take nandroid backups (full system backups). Users can install Custom Firmware /ROMs, Kernels and other .zip or .img files via these custom recoveries. One thing you have to remember, you can’t install Custom recoveries unless you unlock the bootloader of the device. Remember, if you install any Custom recovery, it replaces the stock recovery. Users have to follow the same steps to Boot into Stock Recovery or Custom Recovery.

The Huawei Honor 7A was recently launched by Huawei (April 2018). The Huawei Honor 7A comes equipped with a 57-inches IPS LCD display( 720 x 1440 pixels). The Huawei Honor 7A sports a dual rear camera setup the primary camera is 13 MP, f/2.2, PDAF and the second one is 2 MP, depth sensor. It has 8 MP front camera with  f/2.0. The cameras can take HDR and Panorama. It can capture 1080p@30fps videos.

Huawei Honor 7A runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. It houses a 3000 mAh Non-removable battery. It also has a Fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 Octa-core (4×1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.1 GHz Cortex A53) processor coupled with 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD up to 256 GB.

Enter Into Recovery Mode On Huawei Mate 20 Pro

  • Turn off your smartphone completely.
  • Now Press and hold Volume UP button along with Power button simultaneously for a few secs
  • Your Huawei Honor 7A will enter the stock recovery.

Note: Use Vol Up and Down button to navigate the menu and Power button to select.
