Huawei Mate 20 Lite and MatePad T8 get June 2021 security update

We have entered August month, yet Huawei is still busy sending June 2021 security patch. On the other hand, smartphone companies such as Samsung and Realme have rolled out the July security patch to a bunch of their phones. As per the fresh information, Huawei Mate 20 Lite and MatePad T8 have now started receiving June 2021 security update.

Huawei is sending the new update to MatePad T8 and Mate 20 Lite users in Europe which carries software versions EMUI 10.1.0.155 and EMUI 10.0.0.286 respectively. The new security patch fixes different kinds of exploits which enhances system security and privacy. 

The new software update for MatePad T8 carries a download size of 76.88 MB, while the Mate 20 Lite’s new update requires 109MB of your internet data. If you’re a Huawei Mate 20 Lite or MatePad T8 user in Europe and have not received the new update yet, then manually update your phone using any of the methods given below.
