Huawei is upgrading MatePad 10.4 devices to software version HarmonyOS 2.0.0.220. It brings December 2021 HarmonyOS security patch and new stylus pen-related functions.
The December 2021 security update for Huawei MatePad 10.4 users is tagged with the HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.220. The changelog shared by HuaweiCentral mentions the addition of a global annotation function that allows making annotations of any interface.
Huawei has also added a new one-click excerpt function that allows taking a screenshot of an area and then dragging & dropping it to the note-taking software. A similar kind of update with the same software version was recently started rolling out to MatePad 10.8.
