Huawei has started updating its devices with the latest security updates (Both April and may 2020 security patch). The Huawei Nove 4e has joined the list. The device has received the April security patch update. It brings EMUI software version number 10.0.0.158.
The update brings two main features to the device, Smart Charging Mode and Screen Sharing. Along with these features, it also brings security and performance enhancement. The update addresses various bugs which were being reported after the previous update.
Manual OTA Check Guide
The update is currently being rolled out in China. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update. If you own the device, you can manually check for the update, Go to System > Software /System update > Check for updates. or open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates.
Huawei Nova 4e April 2020 update details
- The update is compatible with Nova 4e MAR-AL00 & MAR-TL00 models
- The update will bump the EMUI software version from 10.0.0.155 to 10.0.0.158
Enable Smart Charging:
- Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.
