Huawei is sending a new software update to the Huawei P Smart 2019 and P Smart+ 2019 users in Europe. It bumps the Android security patch level to June 2021 which enhances system security and privacy.
According to the latest information, the June 2021 security update for Huawei P Smart 2019 and P Smart+ 2019 is bundled with software version EMUI 10.0.0.188. It comes with an update size of just above 100MB.
The June 2021 security patch for Huawei phones fixes 2 Critical and 13 High levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) to better protect the system’s security and privacy from vulnerabilities. It is a minor security patch update. So, don’t expect to see any UI changes, new features, or performance improvements.
