Huawei P Smart 9.1.0.203 update brings April 2020 Security patch {EMUI 9.1.0.203}

Huawei P smart users, we have great news for you all. The device has started getting the April 2020 Security patch update in the European region. The update is based on EMUI 9.1.

The latest update has implemented some new features like Smart charge mode and Huawei Assistant. The update brings software version 9.1.0.203. The OTA size is around 653MB.

This is an incremental update which addresses various bugs which were present in the previous build. The update also brings stability and performance improvements to the device.

Meanwhile, you can manually,  you can manually check for the update. If you own the device, you can manually check for the update, Go to System > Software update > Check for updates. or open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates.

  • Adds Smart Charge mode to slow battery aging, which uses artificial intelligence to learn your charging habits and prevent ongoing charging when the battery is fully charged.

Security

  • Integrates Google security patches released in April 2020 for improved system security.
