A major update is being rolled out to Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 users. The new update brings the latest April 2020 security patch to the device.  The update is carrying version number and is around 620 MB in size

The update brings three main features to the device, WiFi calling, Huawei Assistant and Smart charging. Users have been waiting for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019’s VoWiFi ak.a WiFi calling update and finally, the update has arrived.

The update is currently being rolled out in China. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the update. If you own the device, you can manually check for the update, Go to System > Software /System update > Check for updates. or open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates.
