India Realme 7 users get August 2022 security patch

Realme is pretty quick when it comes to rolling out the latest security updates and Realme 7 is the latest beneficiary of that as Realme 7 users are set to receive the new August 2022 Security Patch Update. Realme started rolling out the new update with the build number RMX2151_11.C.19 for the Realme 7 users in India.

The brand has begun rolling out the update in a staged manner as a limited number of users will be receiving the update first before it is eventually rolled out on a broader basis. There are no major bug fixes or any issues with the software update but the update will come with the July and August 2022 security patches.

How to update your Realme 7?

You can manually download and install this update by going to your device’s settings. For doing that, follow these simple instructions –

  • Open the Settings
  • Click on System and Updates
  • Now, open Software Update
  • Tap on the option Check for Updates
  • If the update is available, simply click on Download and Install
  • Once the installation is finished, reboot your Realme 7

Alternatively, you could manually request software updates through the “My Huawei” app. In order to do that, open the “My Huawei app”, tap on the “Update” option, then select the “Check for Updates” option, and finally “Download and Install”.
