iOS 16 is scheduled for general release on September 12, 2022, following two months of beta testing. Apple’s iOS 16 Release Candidate is now available for download on supported iPhone models. If there are no issues in this RC i, it will be same as the stable release.
Apple has already released 8 developer betas and 6 public betas prior to this release candidate build. These beta versions include many of the new features that Apple previewed at its most recent event. In addition to the new features, most of the issues that were discovered up to this point have been resolved in the beta versions.
The release candidate for iOS 16 has the build number 20A362, as of right now. Because it is quite close to the public build, the update is around 5 GB in size.
Developers and public beta tester may both try the Release Candidate version of iOS 16, which is currently available. In case you were unaware, the Release Candidate version is identical to the one that the general public will receive the following week. You might thus claim that it is the last build for anyone to test in beta.
If you are currently using the most recent beta release of the software, then the update will be delivered to your compatible iPhone. Simply navigate to Settings > General > Software Update in order to check for available updates. You are free to ignore the update and delete the beta profile from your iPhone in preparation for the public build upgrade that will be released the following week.
