Jumper Ezbook 2 Ultrabook Laptop Review (Updated New Version)

Its look is eerily similar to Macbook Air 13. Place both the devices side by side and you will only notice small differences in size and logo on the cover. Its size it as big as that of Pipo W9s and a little bigger than Macbook Air. But bigger is not always better but there are notebooks smaller than this like ASUS UX305 and XPS13 which have a small screen and are equally good when it comes to specs list. It is extremely thin, thinner than Macbook Air and it is light weight as well as it weighs just 1.4kg that’s more than light enough. However, there are cheaper alternatives in the market like ASUS UX305.
It comes with 2 USB ports; one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0, one headphone jack, one microHDMI slot and one MicroSD slot.

Finally, we have a 1080p 14.0-inch LED screen which is more than better than Macbook Air which only has a 900p screen. Even though it is no Quad HD screen but 1080p is more than good enough for a 14.0-inch display. Its screen seems to be a positive aspect of the device; it looks quite decent and is incredibly good for watching TV, browsing, reading articles and other stuffs. It delivers images with sharp quality and vibrant colours which is not that bad considering it is a 14.0-inch screen. Its screen has matte finish and can reach to a maximum brightness of around 300 nits which is quite decent.

Software and Performance

The software aspect of this device was the most concerning of them all. Software is one of the features in which Chinese companies struggle but of Jumper nailed it, this device would have been a complete success.
Jumper has actually done a great job with the software and it looks almost perfect. General UI is smooth and responsive, closing and opening metro apps are fast and browsing Edge is a pleasure while there are imperfections in Google Chrome. It is clearly visible that Chrome is less smooth than the Microsoft Edge. There are few other alternatives like ASUS T100 which run Chrome better than this device. To put it into simple words, if you run a 4k video on Edge, you can stream it without any problems but if you do it on Chrome, the playback will be jittery and not very pleasant.
It comes with 4 GB RAM and a Cherry Trail processor which is more than good enough for web browsing, watching videos, playing games and even light photoshop for GIMP. You can play HD videos and games with good graphics without any problems. But it would struggle when running games with high graphics and some games won’t play. The laptop gets heated up easily which is also one of the few negative points.

Jumper EZBook 2 is one of the most balanced and loaded laptops you will come across in the market. It has lot of exciting features that are comparable with other high end laptops. It has a 10,000mAh battery which gives you a long standby time and it has 4 GB RAM which makes it smooth and fast. It has lot of positives with very few negatives, thus making it on top of everyone’s list.
Jumper EZBook is available on GearBest for just $189.99 and if I were you, I would hurry and purchase it.Current is Price $204 (New Version).
