The LG G8 ThinQ, Amazon variant has reportedly started receiving the latest June 2020 security patch update. The update is currently rolled out in the US.
LG G8 ThinQ Amazon is getting the update with build number QKQ1.190929.002 while the software version is tagged as Q8200QM21c
The new update is an important incremental update. This addresses various bugs and security issues. This update brings system and performance improvements to the device as well.
Steps to check OTA update manually
If you own the device then you can check for the OTA update notification on your device manually. As the OTA update always roll-out in batches, it should take a couple of days or so to arrive at all the units.
