Latest Redmi Note 11 Pro, Note 11 Pro+ update brings December 2021 security patch and camera optimizations

Redmi Note 11 series was launched in China in October with an attractive set of specifications at an affordable price. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ bring 108MP triple cameras, 120Hz AMOLED display, and Dimensity 920 5G chipset. Coming to the title, the devices are receiving a new software update that brings the Android security patch level to December 2021.

The latest software update for Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ is rolling out with the firmware version V12.5.14.0.RKTCNXM. It brings the December 2021 security patch which should fix a bunch of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. According to the changelog, it also improves image quality and user experience issues with the Camera application.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ users in China have already started receiving the December 2021 software update. Those who are still in line waiting for the update should check the status manually via Settings >> About phone >> System update >> Tap on MIUI icon >> Check for new updates.
