The LG G5 (US Unlocked) model number LGE LG-RS988 running on Android 10 with MSM8996 chipset and 4GB RAM variant has been listed on the Geekbench testing on January 18, 2020. The device has scored 317 points of the single-core test and 866 points on the multi-core test which is quite good enough for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC running device.

To recall, the LG G5 was launched way back in 2016 with flagship specifications along with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and then the device has received Android Nougat and Android Oreo gradually. Now, even after three years, the device is running on Android 10 which is a great thing. Though there is no official confirmation available from the company yet. We can expect that this Android 10 benchmark testing will be for the internal beta build.
