LG G8X ThinQ Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update is now available

It is really great to see that companies are now regularly updating their devices. LG has released a major for LG G8X ThinQ users. The Korean giant has started rolling out the much-awaited Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update to the device.

This is a much-awaited update and as promised by the company, the update is finally here. FYI, the Sprint variant has already received the update and this time the standard global variant has joined the list.

The news has been confirmed by danielmelo82 on Reddit. He has posted a screenshot of update. The update comes with software version V20a. The update is currently being rolled out in Brazil. the update will be available in other regions too but it will take some time.

Steps to check OTA update manually

If you own the device then you can check for the OTA update notification on your device manually. As the OTA update always roll-out in batches, it should take a couple of days or so to arrive at all the units. Head over to the device Settings -> About Phone -> Software Updates -> Check for Update -> Download Now.
