LG K31 (LM-K310IM) live images revealed by FCC certification, Launch seems imminent

LG is gearing up to launch on an affordable smartphone dubbed LG K31 (LM-K310IM). The phone has been already spotted on Geekbench and Google Play Console. Now, the LG K31 has passed US FCC certification which reveals some live images of the phone.

The live images show a dual-camera setup on the back in a vertical manner. below the cameras, there is an LED flash. The rear side images do not show a fingerprint scanner. This means, either the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner or we may see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as the display appears to be of LCD type.

The front image shows a punch-hole style selfie camera in the middle. The power button and volume rockers are on the right side. There is also an extra button on the left side which might be a dedicated Google Assistant button. The live images also reveal 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port.

The LG K31 has listed on Geekbench and Google Play Console which reveals some key specifications. According to the Geekbench listing, the phone will be powered by 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It will run Android 10 OS.

Coming to the Google Consle listing, it shows 720×1520 pixels screen resolution with 280 screen density. Like the Geekbench listing, this also confirms MediaTek Helio P22 chipset but shows 2GB of RAM. Hence we may see two RAM variants: 2GB and 4GB. For handling graphics, the CPU is integrated with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Yet, the company remains silent about the launch of this product. However, we think the launch is near as the device has already got multiple certifications.
