LG has launched a new Stylo-series smartphone called the LG Stylo 5. It’s a successor device of the LG Stylo 4 which was launched in June last year. Though the device doesn’t have that much of changes in terms of the previous generation handset. The overall specifications are quite decent in terms of the price segment. However, LG doesn’t reveal the processor yet whether it gonna be Snapdragon or MediaTek-powered. They only mention that it has an octa-core chipset.
LG Stylo 5 Specifications
LG Stylo 5 runs on Android 9.0 Pie version and sports a 6.2-inches Full-HD+ Full Vision display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. It’s an 18:9 aspect ratio display looks good with slim bezels. Those who’re not a fan of notch display, this device may be for you. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. There is no information about the RAM capacity as well. However, we can expect 3GB/4GB of RAM in this price tag. It packs a 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
In terms of the camera department, the LG Stylo 5 comes with a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front camera. While the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB Type-C port in terms of the connectivity options. The Stylo 5 also rated for hearing aids M3 and T3 which is a good thing. It’s powered with a 3,500 mAh battery capacity.
The LG Stylo 5 measures 160.02 x 77.7 x 8.38mm and comes with the stylus-based features like Pop Memo, QuickMemo+, Draw Chat, Coloring Book, Pop Lens, and Pen Keeper. You will get Google Lens integration, Portrait mode, Gesture Shot, Selfie Light, and Auto Shot modes in the camera app as well.
Price and Availability
The handset is priced at $229.99 (Rs.15,900 approx) and available only from US-based carrier Cricket. The existing Cricket subscribers will have to opt for a monthly recharge plan that costs $30 (Rs.2,000 approx) or more. There is no information about device availability in India. The phone comes in Blonde Rose and Platinum Gray color options.
