The Mi Play MIUI 11.0.3.0 China Stable ROM (V11.0.3.0.OFICNXM) has been rolling out for the device. The update is a Chinese Stable ROM. If your device is running on a China ROM, only then you will get the update via OTA. Otherwise, you have to install it manually. The update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

If you are new Xiaomi users, you can find this confusing as some ROMs are Global and some are Chiese Stable or India Stable.
