Redmi Note 9s a.k.a Redmi Note 9 Pro (India) has started grabbing a new software update. The update comes with software version V184.108.40.206.QJWINXM. It is an MIUI 220.127.116.11 India Beta Stable available for the device.
It is an incremental update which addressed some bugs and improves the security and stability of the device.
India is the largest market for the Redmi devices and the company has been providing great software support in the country. All most all Xiaomi devices in India are getting the latest security updates. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is the successor to the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the device was launched with Android 10 out of the box.
The new update comes with the software version 18.104.22.168.PDMMIXM over Android 10. Additionally, the MIUI 11 update includes app lock, lock screen, status bar, notification shade improvements, printing service, app vault, game speed booster, tasks, quick reply, game turbo mode, nature sounds, optimized design for a full-screen display, and more. Check OTA Updates
If your device is not rooted, then your device may have received the update. You can manually check whether the update is available in your region or not. Go to the Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be available across the globe but as it is being rolled out in a phased manner, it may take some time to be available in every region, but if you want you can manually install the latest MIUI 22.214.171.124 on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro handset.
