Moto Z4 is finally getting Android 10 Stable Update

The Motorola Moto Z4 was launched in mid-2019 and came with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Now, the handset is finally receiving the official Android 10 update. Some of the Reddit users have recently shared the screenshot of this update. The new firmware update comes with the January 2020 Security Patch Level and plenty of Android 10 native features as well. So, if you’re a Moto Z4 user and waiting for the Android 10 update, then keep checking the OTA notification on your handset.

The Moto Z4 Android 10 firmware update bumps up a new version QPF30.130-15-7 with January 2020 Android patchset, gestures navigation, system-wide dark theme, better notification control with suggested actions and silent groups. The Moto Z4 users will also get improved app permissions, enhanced location privacy control, and more.

To recall, the Moto Z4 has a 6.4″ OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor (11 nm), Adreno 612 graphics, 4GB RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, a 48MP rear camera, a 25MP selfie camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, a 3600mAh battery, 15W fast charging, etc. All other necessary sensors are also available like an optical under-display fingerprint sensor, compass, gyroscope, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, etc.

In order to check the software OTA update, you can go to the device Settings – About Phone – Software Updates. If any software update is available, then you can download and install it. Once done, your device will reboot into a new system automatically and it should take a few minutes or so. But if you don’t receive any update, you may have to wait for your turn.
