Motorola has been kept busy with all the device launches going around for the company as it is with another company but we know that Motorola has a huge lineup of smartphones unlike some other companies. Motorola releases Moto G series, E series and the recently launched Z series of phones every year. Motorola has already launched the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus smartphones worlwide. The company is now preparing to launch the higher end Z series of smartphones. We have seen the Moto Z2 image leaks some time ago and now its the Moto Z2 Play that has been leaked.
This image was first reported by TechnoBuffalo, the images show that the Moto Z2 Play is the exact same as the Moto Z Play and the only difference which is obvious with the two phones is the fingerprint sensor which was square on the Z Play and the Z2 Play has a pill-shaped sensor.
Motorola’s Moto Z2 Play has maintained the sleek design and thin frame of Moto Z Play with a shimmering gold trim. The rear camera maintains the hump look while the front facing camera comes with a flash.
The leaked image shows the date of June 8th on its screen, which could be the date Motorola has planned for its release. As it was seen earlier, the rounded home button on Moto Z2 Play will act as a fingerprint scanner but the additional feature is that the sensor will also work as on-screen navigation buttons with support for swiping gestures just like the Moto G5 Plus which also features the fingerprint gestures.
The Moto Z Play came with a Snapdragon 625 chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 16-megapixel camera, along with that enormous battery. The phone is always marketed as the battery phone, not a flagship.
