Samsung Galaxy S21 series went official earlier this year with camera upgrades and the latest skin, One UI 3.1. Now, some of its camera features are getting adopted by Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Note 20 series via the latest update to improve the camera capabilities.
The latest update enables Galaxy S20 series and Note 20 series smartphones to capture portrait images in low-light conditions. It also allows the use of night mode with an ultrawide camera.
Now, the ultrawide camera can be used while taking pictures in Pro mode. Users can let the camera choose the exposure or use the maximum possible exposure in Night Mode. Portrait mode gets three new effects – backdrop, high-key mono, and low-key mono.
The latest software update for Galaxy S20 series and Note 20 series is rolling out in Germany with firmware versions G98xxXXU7DUC7 and N98xxXXU1DUC8. respectively. If you own any of these devices and are yet to receive the update, then check the status manually by heading to Settings >> Software update.
