Nokia is now on a roll. The company has started releasing the latest security patches to entry-level smartphones which is just awesome. After Nokia 2.2, now the Nokia 4.2 has received the latest December 2019 security patch update with firmware version V1.41F.
The released update is an incremental update which weighs around 74.8 MB (OTA). The update brings some bug fixes along with system stability improvements to the device. There are two updates rolling out for the device. One is for the Global variant and the other one is for the European variant.
The ROM is a stable Release. So if you own the device, then we highly recommend you to update your Nokia 4.2 to December Security patch V1.41F. If you want to manually flash the OTA, the download the right OTA file (example: if you have the European variant then download the European OTA file).
Check OTA Manually
If you’re using the Nokia 4.2 model, you will soon receive the Android 10 OTA update notification automatically. However, if you haven’t received the Android 10 OTA update yet, then check for it manually. Go to the device Settings menu -> System -> Advanced -> System update
